If we haven't met yet, I'm Ivy! I'm a wedding and senior photographer based in East Tennessee. I hope you'll relax, grab a cup of coffee (or a baja blast), and enjoy seeing my latest work, as well as getting an inside look at my life!
I took Jillian’s prom pictures back in the spring and loved every minute of it, so when she messaged me about doing her senior pictures, I was SO excited! She is so beautiful and has such a sweet personality, and I’m really glad I got to spend time photographing her and getting to know her. Plus, she loves iced caramel macchiatos, so of course we have to be besties now! Jillian just started her senior year at Sweetwater High School, and she’s been involved in the drama club and prom committee over the last few years. She doesn’t know for sure yet what she wants to major in, but she knows she wants to go to college after she graduates. Lots of people start out as undecided, so she has plenty of time to figure that out. From the short time I’ve spent with her, I can tell that she’ll excel at whatever she does! So without further ado, here are just a FEW of my favorite images from her senior session!
We started the shoot out in Downtown Sweetwater, and if you know me, you know that’s one of my favorite places to shoot. I just love the vibe the pictures have and the variety I can get even just on Main Street! I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed with a Downtown session. And this one is no exception. I mean, look at how gorgeous she is!
After we finished the Downtown portion of our shoot, we headed to another one of my favorite venues: Riverbend Farms. If you haven’t been there yet, I hope you get to make a trip soon. It’s absolutely gorgeous, and the owners are so kind! The pictures we took at Riverbend are some of my favorites. Jillian is such a natural in front of the camera, and Riverbend was the perfect background for the second look she chose. I LOVE THESE.
Jillian, I am so thankful that I was able to capture such a special time in your life. I know that whatever you decide to do, you’re going to be great at it. But don’t worry too much about what the future holds – you’ll worry about it enough once you get there. Enjoy every minute of your senior year. Cherish this time with your friends before you all start your own unique journeys. Go to the football games + the pep rallies – make every moment of this year count. Take pictures with your friends, and spend as much time doing the things you love as possible. You deserve a great senior year, and while it may seem like this year is the end of a story, I know for you, this is just the beginning of something amazing. I can’t wait to watch the Lord’s plans for your life unfold.
Love,
Ivy
