With summer quickly drawing to a close, I figured it was time to wrap up my series on the content day I attended at Hidden Springs Venue in Apison, TN. What better note to end on than these canoe wedding photos? Serious Notebook vibes over here. 😍 Michaela & Caleb Trammell did an amazing job modeling. Seriously, they were braving it out in the water. These photos may be beautiful, but they’re also hard work for the models and the photographer! I’m also obsessed with the way Chickamauga Florist‘s beautiful arrangement elevated the canoe’s look. If you’re an adventurous couple, you’ll want to add this to your list of photo ops on your wedding day!

I really don’t have much to say for this one… other than look how pretty! 🤩

If you’re wanting canoe wedding photos, I highly recommend working with a florist to add some pops of color and elevate the look. Just look at those florals! After this shoot, I am hoping to work with Chickamauga Florist again soon. ♥️ Also… the way these two look at each other. It just warms my heart.

I also LOVE the way the sunlight hits the water and the glow it creates around Michaela & Caleb in these photos. When I was a new photographer, I used to run to any kind of shade because I didn’t know how to make lighting scenarios like this work. But man. I’m so glad I put in the time and effort to learn. In my humble opinion, the ability to harness light like this results in bright, crisp, & dreamy images. I love it, I love it, and did I mention I love it?!

All in all, Hidden Springs is a beautiful venue. Michaela & Caleb are stunning. The florals – can’t get over ’em. Lili B’s Photography did an amazing job setting up and coordinating this shoot. I am so grateful I was able to be one of the photographers in attendance! A summer highlight for sure. Now, fall…. I’m ready for ya!
