Lindsey & Blake’s engagement session was a little different from my usual and I LOVED it! The hotel, bar, and cityscape all gave off the perfect vibes for this classy Downtown Knoxville engagement session. Since these two got engaged in downtown Knoxville, this location is extra special to them. Lindsey said that when Blake proposed, he planned it with all of her family to come in from out of town so they could be there for the big moment. How sweet and special is that?! Since their proposal featured some iconic Knoxville spots, we had fun exploring a different side of Downtown Knoxville for their engagement session. I just know y’all are going to love these images – I can’t stop looking at them!
The Five Thirty Lounge at Hyatt Place perfectly fit Lindsey’s vision! During the day, natural light fills the room and makes for some gorgeous portraits. However, if you want to plan a session there – don’t just walk in. You need to call ahead to get permission! We contacted several hotels in Downtown Knoxville to inquire about this engagement session. Thankfully, Hyatt Place made it easy to schedule, pay their fee, and communicate while planning. Highly recommend!
After we left the lounge, we snapped a few flash photos in the hotel lobby and main hallway. I’m actually obsessed with these. The interior of the Hyatt Place in Downtown Knoxville is just so pretty! I especially loved the blue couch you’ll see toward the end of this section.
The heels were cute, but ya know, beauty is pain. Lindsey taking them off and holding them made for some super cute photos in my opinion! Also, can we talk about those pearls? I love!!
Fun fact: The SEC was created in the Hyatt Place Downtown Knoxville, where we did this engagement session! Knowing this made the hotel an even more perfect location for these Vols fans!
You can’t be this close to the iconic Tennessee Theatre sign and not snap some photos with it! And gosh, you also can’t beat classy outfits at a downtown session! These two look SO GOOD.
Lindsey and Blake, I had SO much fun taking your engagement photos and I absolutely cannot wait for your wedding in May!! Until then, I’ll probably just be looking at these over and over again.
