A sweet, family-only ceremony, a cute little chapel, and all the love you could wish for – that’s what Savanna + Nick’s wedding day consisted of. And it’s exactly what they wanted! When Savanna first inquired with me about their Whitestone Inn elopement, I asked her about their love story. She said she and Nick immediately knew they were meant for each other, and couldn’t wait to get married! They chose an elopement-style ceremony with just their family because they wanted to enjoy their day and make it special. I know they were able to relax and soak it all in! Watching their family support and celebrate with them as they committed to forever together was so sweet.
Furthermore, their day was basically stress free! Well… other than the fact that they had originally planned on having their ceremony in the gazebo overlooking the water. But, the weather had other plans. We experienced rain-showers off and on all day, so they moved their ceremony into the chapel… a beautiful backup plan if you ask me! 🤩 Thankfully, we were able to get a few outdoor photos in between the rain storms! Looking at the photos, you’d probably never know how rainy the day even was. Now, let’s relive their day! 🙂
I love how classy and timeless Savanna’s dress was! It looked absolutely STUNNING on her.
After this gift exchange, Savanna’s mom explained to me that her dad has a tradition of giving her a knife every Christmas. How sweet that he gave her a special knife for her wedding day too?!
Now we’re moving on to one of my favorite parts of every wedding day… Bridal portraits! Savanna, you are beautiful!
The rain started pouring just after we wrapped up some photos of Nick by himself! So, I’m very thankful we got to use both the inside and the outside of the Whitestone Chapel for photos!
Can we talk about how PERFECT this chapel is?! I’m in love with the photos taken inside the venue!
The sweetest post-ceremony kiss. 🥺
Ladies, get you a man who helps you carry the train of your dress!
After their ceremony and portrait time, Savanna + Nick enjoyed a private dinner with their families. Whitestone did an amazing job setting it all up! Everything was perfect.
They had SUCH a beautiful cake! Makes me consider a side career as a cake photographer through the week 😂
I mean…. just a BEAUTIFUL elopement at Whitestone Inn. Stunning couple, breathtaking property, and a precious family! I am so honored Savanna + Nick chose me to capture their love. Just as Savanna told me in that first email, they are definitely meant for each other. What a beautiful union to witness. Savanna + Nick, I am praying for blessings over your life together! ♥️
