The absolute SWEETEST Ocoee River engagement session. Let me tell ya. Haleigh + David are a dream. I first met Haleigh when I was a senior and she was a sophomore in college. She expressed interest in rushing the Greek club I was in, so we met one day for coffee. I left that coffee shop knowing these things for sure: I wanted her to be my friend & to be in my club, and she was definitely going to marry David. The way she talked about him & their relationship made it evident to me – even in that first conversation – that God made them for one another. And yes, she did end up becoming a part of my club. 🙂

When Haleigh contacted me about photographing their wedding, I was instantly transported to that little coffee shop in Cleveland. It made me realize how crazy fast time moves & life comes full circle. And here I am – absolutely honored and a little teary-eyed about getting to be their wedding photographer.

They’re getting married on a lake in North Carolina, so it was only fitting to head to the Ocoee River for engagement photos. Water was the theme for the first half of this shoot! Speaking of which, I’ll stop blabbering and share some of my favorite images…

The Ocoee River wasn’t the only location we wanted to use for these photos – we traveled from the Parkside area up to Sugarloaf Overlook for a completely different view.

Haleigh + David, I had so much fun taking these Ocoee River engagement photos for you. You are such beautiful, kind, fun-spirited people, and you fit together perfectly.
